In the unlikely situation in which it will rain a lot in the days prior to the competition, the configuration of the route changes on the first kilometers after the start.
We will go directly out to the mountain, towards the Avrig Valley, we will continue on cobbled roads for another 6 km and then we will climb into Savannah somewhere in the final part.
In this configuration, the Blue/Red/Black routes will be 2 km longer, and the Yellow one will be almost 5 km longer. However, the difference in length will be compensated by the tread and terrain configuration.
We recommend that you follow this route and if you go to do route reconnaissance. The exit to Savannah on the standard route is made on the Sibiu – Făgăraș highway construction site where very intense work is being done during this period, being a segment to be avoided.
