eMTB sample
This year’s e-bike competition within the Păltiniș MTB Triad will go as a format in the direction of the eMTB Xperience Triad. We will have 2 timed special stages, the final ranking being given by the accumulation of times.
We will also have the Outlaws competition category where all those who have motors that develop a power greater than 850W will fall. For the Female category, motors with a power greater than 850W will be limited to 850, not having, for now, a Female Outlaws category.
The first special stage will have 9 kilometers and the start will be given from Păltiniș Arena in groups of 4 riders, with a difference of 1 minute. The first start will be at 10:00. This first stage will go through for the first time one of the most famous descents in Păltiniș, Roller Coaster, … in the opposite direction!
Next is 3 kilometers of untimed forest road and then individual start in the 2nd race.
On the liaison segment, between the final time recorded at PS 1 and the start time at PS 2, each competitor must not do more than 15 minutes. Any minute of overtaking will be penalized with 3 minutes in the final ranking.
It has 12 kilometers and after stopping the clock, the competitors will return to Păltiniș Arena on their own, on a forest road and asphalt (about 5 kilometers).
