The Blue Route is the shortest in the P\u0103ltini\u0219 2024 MTB Triad program, with a length of 14 kilometers and a positive elevation gain of about 500 meters. It is recommended for participants who are less physically and technically prepared. It still has 2 slightly more difficult areas to descend, but these being relatively short can be ridden even next to the bike if the competitor does not feel safe.<\/p>\n

Even if it is shorter, the blue route offers participants a fairly clear picture of what the P\u0103ltini\u0219 MTB Triad means and what a mountain bike route should look like.<\/p>\n

The start\/finish area<\/strong> is at P\u0103ltini\u0219 Arena.<\/p>\n

Pick-up of starter kits<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

The start kits will be picked up on Saturday between 13:30 and 16:30 or on Sunday between 8 and 9 from the Race office (near the start\/finish area).<\/p>\n

We recommend that you take the starter kits on Saturday within the designated range. If there will be too many participants who will pick up the kits on Sunday morning you may miss the start!!!<\/p>\n

Start procedures<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

The competitors will occupy at the start the box reserved for the BLUE route and will not make the loop on the slope. The start will be given after all competitors on the BLACK and RED routes will pass for the 2nd time through the starting gate.<\/p>\n

Shimano tape, orange flags, blue spray[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”9569″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” onclick=”img_link_large” css=””][vc_column_text css=””]On the trail segments that follow clear roads\/trails, the markings are somewhat rarer. In the intersections you will find more frequent markings.<\/p>\n

In the area where the BLUE route separates from BLACK and RED (km 9, immediately after the hydration point) you will follow the indicator with the arrow on a blue background.<\/p>\n

Drinks will be prepared on the tables and each competitor is served alone. People at the points of supply are not obliged to fill your cans with water or give each of you the glasses of drink. However, as much as possible they will help you with these things. Be patient and behave civilized with both volunteers and other competitors.<\/p>\n

After crossing the road follows a descent on a forest road. Part of it, about km 4 of the route, needs to be approached carefully as logging has taken place in the area.<\/p>\n

The end of the descent is on a path that becomes steeper and steeper. Descend with extra attention after you see the \"\" sign (about km 5 of the route).<\/p>\n

Immediately after the hydration point, the route detaches to the left from the other 2 routes, continues for about 1 km on the main road and then turns left and crosses the Once\u0219ti slope. BE CAREFUL not to miss this intersection.<\/p>\n

At km 12 you have another more difficult descent where you will find the \"\"sign again.<\/p>\n
