Competition categories<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Race category will be decided by deducting the born year of the competitor from the current year. The result must be inside the category limits.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Examples:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Competitor born in 1978<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>2015 \u2013 1978 = 37 =&gt; age group 30-39<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Competitor born in 1985<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>2015 \u2013 1985 = 30 =&gt; age group 30-39<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The minimum age allowed to participate on the Short Route is 14 years. The registration form for people under the age of 18 will be signed by one of the parents or legal guardian. If one of the parents or the legal guardian is not present, a notarized statement will be submitted in which they express their consent. The exceptions are junior athletes and cadets licensed to frc affiliated sports clubs and who have a FRC license for the current year. They will present the licenses upon registration.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>9.1.2. Rules (for children&#8217;s competitions)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Only children who fall under the age groups in Chapter 9.1.1 may participate.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>The registration form will be completed and signed by one of the parents or legal guardian. If one of the parents or the legal guardian is not present, a notarized statement will be submitted in which they express their consent. It is mandatory to attach a copy of the child&#8217;s birth certificate.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>It is not allowed to participate in the competition with bicycles without pedals (&#8220;running bike&#8221;)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Helmet is mandatory.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Persons accompanying children are not allowed to enter inside the race path.
